Brighton Beach Memoirs

Set in the Brighton Beach area of Brooklyn in the Great Depression, Eugene, dreaming of baseball and girls, must cope with the mundane existence of his family life: formidable mother, overworked father, and his worldly older brother Stanley. Throw into the mix his widowed Aunt Blanche and her two young (but rapidly aging) daughters and you have a recipe for hilarity, served up Simon-style.

Elf: The Musical

Buddy, a young orphan, mistakenly crawls into Santa's bag of gifts and is transported to the North Pole. The would-be elf is raised, unaware that he is actually a human until his enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa's permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father and discover his true identity. Faced with the harsh realities that his father is on the naughty list and his half-brother doesn't even believe in Santa, Buddy is determined to win over his new family and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas. Isolated and with a killer in their midst, Detective Hercule Poirot must identify the murderer – in case he or she decides to strike again.

Calendar Girls

April 16-18, 22-25, 2021
When Annie's husband John dies of leukemia, she and best friend Chris resolve to raise money for a new settee in the local hospital waiting room. They manage to persuade four fellow Women’s Institute members to pose nude with them for an "alternative" calendar, with a little help from hospital porter and amateur photographer Lawrence. The news of the women's charitable venture spreads like wildfire, and hordes of press soon descend on the small village of Knapeley in the Yorkshire Dales. The calendar is a success, but Chris and Annie's friendship is put to the test under the strain of their new-found fame.

On Golden Pond

Aging couple Ethel and Norman Thayer spend each summer at their home on Lake Golden Pond. During the year, they are visited by daughter Chelsea with her fiance Billy Ray and his son. The play explores the often turbulent relationship Chelsea shared with her father growing up, and the difficulties faced by a couple in the twilight years of a long marriage.

Same Time, Next Year

New Jersey accountant George and Oakland housewife Doris meet at northern California inn. After a one-night affair, they agree to meet once a year, despite the fact that they are each married and have six children between them. Into the Woods, Jr.

August 13-15, 2021
Music and Lyrics by Stephen Sondheim; Book by James Lapine
The musical centers on a baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King's festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse, and wind up changed forever.
